The Green Pig - Kapaa

During the Covid-19 lockdown, what I miss the most is the warm and genuine interactions with the people I would encounter. I truly long for the hospitality of The Green Pig, provided by its wonderful owners who have such beautiful hearts, as well as the delicious food—especially the authentic Local Style Loco Moco! I sincerely hope that a Covid-19 vaccine will be discovered soon so I can return to The Green Pig food truck and unwind.

The food here is absolutely delicious! The portion sizes are fantastic, and the flavors are bold and satisfying. It's definitely worth the drive and even a little detour to get here. I wish I could leave multiple reviews to express how much I enjoyed this place. If you're thinking of visiting the green pork food truck, you won't regret it!

Hidden jewel. We had the Jiggy Fresh (Carmelized Onions over curly pommes and shredded in Gravy and marinated shredded pork) and the Fat Boy (Sketch buy I 4got the photo, a pork sandwich with hover and very tasty). Lunch was about $35. Delicious food, but very rich.

Hands down the best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had. My wife got the pulled pork with gravy and that was delicious as well. Run by a lovely family, and extra kudos to them for not using plasticware. Definitely worth a stop!

Wow! I can't believe how incredible the pig belly Loco Moco and the pig belly watermelon salad are! They're ten times better than the $40-$50 meals I've had recently at upscale waterfront restaurants. My heart, arteries, and belt may not be too happy about it, but my stomach and I are absolutely in heaven!
