Oasis On The Beach - Kapaa

If you like tasty well prepared food this is the place to go. This was the greatest quality food I have ever had and the price was negligible compared to the quality of the food. We had 6 dishes and they were all magnificent. Everything in the dish was so well chosen and so well measured that it was a real science put in those preparations. They may have one brand chardonnay but no doubt it will be a great one. The service was just perfect and having a front ocean view was additional bonus.

When we arrived here, the music was super, super loud to the point that our server had to bend down to talk to us and was somehow unpleasant. Overall, the food was pretty good. We had pig dogs as an appetizer and they were bland, but not bad. We had both the fresh catch (drilled and seared) and the fish was cooked and seasoned well.

We have the fried sommes and chips as starters. Both were very good. The chips were covered with Nacho cheese. For my duck, I have the supposed catch. It was good. The potatoes were very good.

We had booked a dinner here on a day when I knew we were too tired to drive somewhere after our day of activities, and we were pleasantly surprised how good the food was. The view was beautiful as it was right on the beach. The food was very fresh and what I would expect from a Michelin recommended restaurant. I knew it was a good place when I saw some locals I realized from the bakery that I had eaten here too. You can book a reservation for the view or because it is convenient, but you will be delighted by the food here.

Always a great meal here! many times about the years. the fresh catch is always a good choice. the short ribs are fantastic. the truffle horse race cannot be missed! so good!
