Zippy's - Kaneohe

This is the go to place for Hawaiian fast food! Friendly staff and a bit of wait at this location. Lot of options on the menu and picked just one for quick lunch. Ordered the chicken katsu plate with Mac salad. Mac salad was tasty, the chicken katsu was okay and the sauce was missing the usual katsu curry flavor. This dish was definitely a let down. Hoping to try the other dishes next time!

Came here for a quick lunch before going to the sandbar after it was mentioned to us by our Uber driver. He said it’s not something to rave about, just a regional chain, but we thought it sounded cool! We thought it was interesting that this spot had half of a quick dining area and a sit down area. The cashiers were super duper friendly. Saimin This was inexpensive and quite filling! It had a good amount of noodles and the piping hot broth came separately. The fish cake and char siu were tasty. Since it seemed little, I added a chicken katsu. The cashier said she made sure to put it separately so the chicks stayed crispy. Chicken katsu My stand alone katsu was around $5 6 but turning it into its own combo meal with rice and mac salad is the way to go. My friend got 3 pieces for $12. We expected a dense, greasy fried food but it was actually very light and thin! It was a lot better than I expected. Its accompanying sauce is more sour than other katsu places I’ve tried. We were dying for vegetables at this point so I ate all the cabbage underneath lol. Korean fried chicken This was delicious! The boneless pieces don’t come in medium sized chunks. I liked their crunch. Loco moco This was hot, flavorful, and honestly tasted better than some other places I’ve tried. The egg was fried perfectly. I wish I tried the oxtail soup but it’s pretty pricey. Zippy’s fulfilled our needs before our long boat trip!

Spaghetti and chicken plate is always good, especially when you’re not sure what to get. The Chantilly cake is Ono!

Food hit the spot! Exactly what I wanted and needed, located right outside Windward mall (across small road)! Staff was great, social distance and cv19 policies adhered too! Sanitary and safe dining!

This was a good restaurant..My last visit ended at the check in. Firstly they were woefully under staffed. They insist you check in electronically even though there's a person standing there to seat you smdh. It is as if they don't want your business. It was for me a decent place to have a meal a little pricey) and consistent. They should change the name because they don't live up to it
