Bamboo Inn - Kamloops

Ate tonight with friends and this is my first time to eat here. I ate what my friends ordered and it consisted of chowmein, almond chicken, beef w/ broccoli, and fried rice. Among the dishes the fried rice was excellent, however, with the rest what I tasted was salt all the way. The beef w/ broccoli was not worth the price because I can only count the beef pieces and the broccoli was too chunky. This is probably the reason why I haven't heard about this restaurant. Definitely not coming back.

We weren't sure at first if we should try this place. Not too inviting appearance wise. People encouraged us to give it a try as they have great food. So we did and we were hooked.

Feathers on the table, Sat a different table and told staff about it. Good me a story which doesn't matter,they should have noticed. I should have walked out but I remember the food was great 15 years ago. NOT the case now !!! My girlfriend ordered won ton soup which the won ton wrap's come apart making it look like noodle and beef ball soup. The girlfriend gave me the pork from it at which point I thought it tasted a bit sour. But I eat it anyway and I've been up most the with bad stomach. My combination plate wasn't all the good. Never mind it was over priced I thought for what we ordered. If I could rate this so called restaurant lower then a 1 it would be so. I can't believe we payed for it. Eating from a dumpster is better choice. Be warned !!

I ORDERED DELIVERY. IT USED TO BE MY FAVORITE SPOT . THEY CLOSED FOR QUITE A WHILE AND RECENTLY RE OPENED . THEY SHOULD HAVE STAYED CLOSED . NOT AT ALL LIKE THE FOOD THEY USED TO PREPARE. THE RICE WAS HARD AND HAD NO FLAVOR . CHOW MEIN SAME . THEY NOW USE PROCESSED DELI CHICKEN AND TOSS IT AROUND . NO FLAVOR IN ANYTHING . OVER PRICED AND WORSE MEAL I EVER HAD . ALL WENT INTO TRASH. NEVER AGAIN . THE PORK WAS SO TOUGH COULDN'T CUT IT WITH A REGULAR KNIFE . I GET SICK JUST THINKING ABOUT IT . I SUSPECT THAT SOMEONE ELSE MAY HAVE TAKEN IT OVER. THE PREVIOUS OWNERS WOULD NEVER HAVE TRIED TO PASS THAT GARBAGE OFF AS EDIBLE . STAY AWAY

Ordered vegetables chow mean and chicken fried rice. If you could find any vegetables in there good luck when I called they said shred cabbage celery and onion. LITTLE AND SPARSE. The noodles were so over cooked a glue Ness. The rice not much better. So disappointed when I called to complain I was dismissed.
