Contribuiți la feedbackI have a bit of a complaint with Tripadvisor not having half-point ratings, as this restaurant is more of a 3.5 for me. My wife and I dined here on Valentine's Day. She enjoyed her steak and salad, and even took home some key lime pie. As for my meal, I'll break it down by item. The French onion soup was a C- for its gummy cheese and watery, yet well-seasoned broth. The cole slaw earned a B- from me, as I prefer it crunchier, but my wife really liked it. The French fries were a B+ for being stiff, fresh, and tasty. The honey-glazed biscuit was an A- - wonderfully fresh and smooth. The ribs were a B- - the meat was fresh but lacked flavor, and the seasoning was a bit too sweet. The service was friendly but a bit inconsistent, with our entrees arriving just two minutes after our soup and salad, prompting the waitress to mention they came out too quickly. It seemed like the food might have been reheated. We had to ask for A-1 sauce twice. The prices were reasonable for a chain restaurant like Chili's or TGIFriday's. The decor was bright but not very interesting, featuring a lot of Torrington High School memorabilia on the walls. I can't give it four stars, as that would suggest it's significantly better than an average Olive Garden. It's better than your typical chain, so I wish I could rate it higher than three stars, but I just can't.
