Funtime Cafe - Joshua

My mother has been working as a server at this restaurant for about four months now, and her experience has been troubling. She has faced verbal abuse on several occasions from both Carmen and Wayne. The situation became so distressing that she suffered a seizure in the parking lot while trying to escape from Wayne, who was shouting insults at her. Customers in the restaurant witnessed this abuse and tried to comfort her. My mother has decades of experience in the service industry and is known for being one of the best servers around, with a loyal customer base who genuinely appreciate her. Unfortunately, the way the owners have treated her has been incredibly disheartening. A few weeks ago, Wayne even escalated things to the point of getting physical, shoving her and turning her around forcefully. I would advise against visiting this establishment unless you condone such unacceptable management practices.

Love this neighborhood cafe! Even more so now. Called last night when I realized they had take out available, and it said open till 9,but when I got there to pick up my order,I found they actually closed at 7,and it was 7:30 before I called in order! I apologized that I thought they were open till 9,and they were just as friendly as always,the food was hot and delicious as always. And it is homemade,very generous portions,and you cannot beat the price! We have to support our local small businesses, especially in these times,and it isn't hard to do with this place. I would give them 10 stars if I could

Wayne and Carman are both amazing. I first met them when they had the little trailer out front .They had the best funnel cakes with strawberries and whipping cream. Went there almost every day. Hamburgers were wonderful too. They quickly became my friends. They have the very best food. Carman made some of the best salsa i’ve ever had.

The food and service here are fantastic! I've tried several items from the menu, and my favorites are the Chicken Fried Steak, Carmen Burger, and Carmen Plate. You really can't go wrong at this restaurant.
