Tennessee Hills Distillery

Whiskey and moonshine tastings here! Staff was wonderful and we were happy to find some local whiskey and shine to bring home. The bar looks cute, wish we had a chance to stop and grab a drink.

This place is wonderful for the whiskey and rums. Very tasty and good. Big variety they have. Great selection of merchandise. Met the owner and is a super nice gentleman. Master at his craft. Free tasting all the time. Recommended stop to get a nice treat.

We stopped in for a tasting and were blown away by the array of Bourbon whiskeys available to try. Additionally they have Gin, Vodka and an assortment of Rums. The service was top notch. They took the time to explain each of the samples and the processes the distillery uses to achieve Whiskey perfection. Left with a couple bottles to continue sampling at home.

One star because after visiting, did some digging. This place doesn't make their own bourbon at all definitely one of the places that uses marketing to draw folks in, which is not what bourbon is all about. Be honest about using some else's juice with your bottle and label and I'd be totally willing to support. Pretend you're making your own stuff and you've instantly lost my business.

I will admit that while I visit a lot of distilleries with my husband, I am not usually impressed with either the liquor or the store. That being said, this place has it going on!! Great people, great merchandise and the tasting was impressive! The hardest thing was deciding what to buy because I wanted almost all of it! Hubby’s favorite is the blood orange and honey and mine is the lemon drop. Will definitely return when we are back up this way. ??
