Contribuiți la feedbackI chose this place to eat randomly when I look at a card. we lived in rawden and thought it would be nice to look for an evening for joliette. little we knew we would discover the best Indian place in quebec. between then incredibly friendly service, helpful suggestions and the very nice decor, we were already satisfied to come. the COVID-conscious security procedures were also welcome. then we saw the menu: wow! it is diverse. that is not always a guarantee that eating is good, but it feels pretty, especially when some of the decisions are dinge that they do not see in 'standard' Indian sites. new recipes for us perhaps to explore: check. the first curs was the suppe that I often dine in Indians as a kind of bland, but enjoy pleasant affair. my wife had the whale, I had mulligatawny. we were young for a shock: the suppe was exaggerated well. when they eat here, I strongly recommend the mulligatawny; they will not get anywhere else. it is spicy and filled with dingen. next we had two curries that were phenomenically cooked. one was for my wife a yogurt recipe that was not even found on the menu (cook 's choice! and so that is not for me, as I don't like yogurt taste. I had the wok boiled mixed meat dish that was sensational. we also ordered a beef-Naan bread that, if they don't know what that is, makes two of us. that was so good that I tried to eat so much of it for my baby. who thinks he eats my bread, no matter what. this meal was so good we didn't know what to do with us, so later in our 4 day trip we decided that the best step was to come back instead of going to a new place and probably get a ok experience. Besides, it's a 90-minute drive for me to go back here, so we didn't want to waste our chance of going back while we were in the opposite. I would say the second meal was even better than the first tandoori shrimp. it is great, and the tandoori here is about what they will get to most places. also my personal favorite was the okra curry chicken dish. yes, you heard that right: okra. it probably had curcuma or something in there. guess what: this is a dynamite court. get it. this time I have a chai to finish, which was excellent. Nothing here is too rich, nothing swim in sauce, crazy good preparation, not too much oil, and best choice they see 'll. my only regret is that I do not live in joliette, so it will be a pain to go back. if I'd plan another trip, maybe I just have to go in here.
If you are from indian continent you may not like as it is not spicy, not enough spices used or cooked strong. But for local people, good enough.
Really amazing food and experience ! We went for a family dinner and we enjoyed it, we took a meal for 3 people and we had plenty of food ! Let’s go and let yourself be immersed in an authentic experience !!
This is a complete scam restaurant. The quality is too bad. No salt. No spicy. Curry is like desert. For every recipe of chicken, they use butter chicken and add few extra stuff to name a new recipe. Vegetables were just Frozen stuffs from Walmart. Recipes are priced more than average but the quantity is too low. Only the basmati rice and tandoori roti is good. Everything else is just a scam. Foreigner gets scammed since they don't know what authentic Indian food is. Bangladesh recipe are listed on menu and they're not even good at making Bangladesh recipe. They just smile all time and put up a decent ambience. Instead they should invest more into making of food. If you're Indian don't even try to taste water here as even water might be a scam. If you're a foreigner better don't judge what Indian food is after eating here . For restaurant owner.....what do you get by scamming people?
The food is really good, the staffs are very friendly. I recommend people must go there if they want to enjoy good Indian food.
