Texas Roadhouse - Johnston

I am a frequent patron of this restaurant and I am tired of having to drive an extra 20 miles round trip to the west Des Moines location because the air conditioning at the Johnston Roadhouse is broken. The employees there must endure extreme conditions and I hope the issue is resolved soon so I can enjoy a meal there without having to wait until autumn. I miss all of the staff at the restaurant.

This restaurant is a favorite for our family. We always have a great dining experience with delicious food, a fun atmosphere, and reliable takeout service.

We enjoyed our dining experience at Texas Roadhouse, but encountered some issues during our visit. We brought our son, his wife, and our three granddaughters along for the meal. I needed a non-alcoholic drink, so I requested a virgin Strawberry Margarita. However, I was informed that the restaurant does not make non-alcoholic beverages due to company policy. Unfortunately, I was feeling unwell during our trip to Iowa and needed to eat and drink something. When we arrived at the restaurant, which was only half full, I asked to be seated but was told I couldn't until the other members of our party arrived. Despite feeling sick and dehydrated, I was directed to the bar to order a drink. The manager came to speak with me but had someone else's food in hand, which made me uncomfortable. I eventually went outside to sit in the heat due to the broken air conditioning inside. Although the service was lacking, our waitress was attentive and made sure I had food and water promptly. Overall, the restaurant never filled up during our time there and it was disappointing that I couldn't relax in a booth due to their strict seating rules.

Air conditioning has been broken since Father's Day. Management says no plans to fix it because they don't want to close for one day. It's July. It has to be 120 in the kitchen. Are there any OSHA rules on kitchen Temps?

Took forever for the water to take our order. Air conditioner only worked in part of the restaurant. Food was good.
