Scooter's Coffee - Johnston

We visited the drive-thru, and the woman at the window was extremely kind and positive. She truly brightened our day!

The flavors didn't compare to those of the three other scooter places I usually visit. I’m not even sure how they could taste so different.

The coffee was decent. I ordered a latte and noticed that the espresso could have been a bit stronger. However, the latte itself was quite enjoyable. The prices were all quite reasonable as well.

If you're in the area and searching for a coffee shop, I would suggest steering clear of this one. Instead, head a little further down the street to Twisted Bean for a much more pleasant experience. The staff at this location were quite rude and abrupt when taking orders. If you ask any questions, they seem annoyed. During payment, there was no eye contact, no greetings, no thank you, and no offer of a receipt. To make matters worse, you get to overhear the staff commenting on the next customer in line.

I’ve gotten into the habit of making my own coffee, so I don’t go to coffee shops as often as I did in my 20s. However, Scooters has definitely made it onto my list of recommendations!
