Wellness Zamecek - Jetrichovice

Please delete the word wellness from your hotel description!!! To describe the location as a wellness hotel is a big exaggeration! The entire wellness area gave a very unkempt, neglected impression. The water in the pool was milky, speaks for too little chlorine. Also the usual smell of chlorine was not to be perceived. The necessary circulation system was not working. An underwater spotlight floated in the water only attached to the cable. Drainage grates were so dirty that this aspect alone discouraged you from entering the pool. A spiral staircase that leads to the 1st floor is used below as a shelf for canisters, where the sponge has nested. A delight for every asthmatic or allergy sufferer. Both saunas were out of order, the cold pool without water. Massages must of course be booked separately. No trace of wellness! The lady at the reception should change her job, a smile is not to be expected. In any case, communication is avoided. Simply acknowledging the guest 's gaze makes many things more pleasant. The service staff in the restaurant is friendly, but the elderly gentleman lacks vision. A dirty table was not wiped. The dinner was very good and tasty and extremely cheap in comparison. Three different dishes, each with a starter, were fine. The breakfast was served as part of the usual and as a buffet. However, all the rolls were soggy and could not be spiced up due to the lack of a toaster. There was no margarine for dieters, and no lactose-free milk either. There were not enough large and medium plates, which is not possible for a restaurant. Two cabinets in the room had cracked on the surface and were extremely unsightly. The floorboards creaked, as did the sofa bed for our third man. He hardly dared to move at night. The shower head is way too low as the shower rod is way too low. In addition, the shower head is rather unusable. The lighting in the mirror is broken, the room staff should have noticed that already. The hotel is on a hill with a great view. All in all, a place of rest and relaxation if you simply omit the word wellness. This is very annoying, especially since €206 is not appropriate for one night incl. Breakfast of course. Parking is free for hotel guests. In a response from the hotel to another review, the statement was that you would be given an envelope with information material etc. This statement is simply wrong, does not correspond to reality. We did not receive an envelope . Conclusion: There is a lot of room for improvement and an eye for detail would be very appropriate for such a property.

We can only evaluate the wellness, we were not accommodated, nor did we eat in the restaurant. We were, in a word, disappointed. In the wellness center there was a completely ice pool (even for my husband, let alone me and my two-year-old daughter). Then only the sauna was in operation, it was a secret. Steam out of order, hot tub not available at all. It was really very uncomfortable and cold in the whole space. The price of 250 CZK would probably be OK otherwise, but under these conditions, not really, it was about catching a cold..

Great accommodation, very nice rooms, clean. Wellness could be improved. In the sauna, the electric stove did not get more than 80°C, perhaps due to the fact that the door to the sauna did not seal well. The cooling pool didn't work, so only the shower. Such a shame. Pool for children fine. The hotel itself is in a very nice place, the restaurant cooks very well, but there are a few shortcomings due to the fact that there is probably no time to take care of such an object more. Damage. Anyway, trips from here are easily accessible and there is also a bus stop nearby. I expected a lot from this place based on the reviews and image of the website. Unfortunately, the reality was different. On the one hand, great, the clients are ordinary people and not snobs. On the other hand, you automatically expect more from a wellness hotel. So the place is great, quiet, beautiful building and terrace and views of the countryside. Ideal for trips, parking without problems, if necessary there is a bus stop nearby. The room equipment is tasteful and sufficient, except for the two mini bottles of wine in the bar fridge : What surprised us was the bathroom equipment. The cheapest faucet, hose, sink and shower you can buy. Wellness is a strong word. Half of the things don't work the cooling pool, the steam, and even the time on the clock has stopped. We were not informed about this when booking, nor is this information on the website. So you pay for something they offer but it doesn't work. What I rate really positively is the restaurant. Nice premises, really tasty food and good prices. And if you're here, don't forget to have ginger or almond :

That was a flop in the Wellness Hotel Zámeček!!! Accommodation under the roof for 6 nights in a double room .... a real impertinence. The cleaning lady's room was larger. The room used to be a single room and it's too small for that. There was no space for a closet, table or chair. TV available, but no German channels. I wouldn't eat or drink anything from the minibar... it's been a little too long since the last cleaning. The window has a great egg shape, but unfortunately it can only be kept open with a block of wood. I wouldn't want to live there for free in the summer when there's a lot of sun. Room service was available twice out of six nights. The breakfast had to be covered. There weren't enough plates on the weekend. Salt and pepper was also in short supply. I asked for information about the counter at the reception, unfortunately the language problem was very big. I was able to purchase a hiking map without Czech. The photos on the website are well done, compliments. Unfortunately, the reality is no longer so nice! The surrounding nature is so beautiful and invites you to go hiking. When asked if we liked it, the woman at reception bit back her teeth, I can imagine why. I will never visit the Wellness Hotel Zámeček again, nor will I recommend it.
