Barthel´s Restaurant - Bad Schandau

Lovely atmosphere. We were lucky to get a table. 3 of us all had dishes with asparagus and hollandaise sauce. Nice wine too. No problem about getting a jug of tap water. Recommended,

Everything was just perpect: large delicious meals, extremely friendly staff, small cozy dining area.

My wife and I had dinner there. I had the Bohemian Schweize mushroom (pfefferlinge) with cream with knödel (dumpling). Mine was very tasty and filling. She had the trout with butter and lemon which she said was delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive as they could be, as it was busy. Happily recommend. Only criticism is that she thought that the side salad dressing was a bit of a let down. I thought it was fine.

Terrible! I wonder if the reviews r are fake. greasy, bad cooked dishes, served with frozen beside dishes. I could hardly finish the half

Hühnerschnitzel was exactly what I needed after 7 hours of walking. exchanged the potatoes for bratkartoffeln and could not have been happier. that was it.
