Lobster Garage - Jersey City

How come I just don’t learn my lesson. This place is next to Lighthorse (when we paid, we realized it’s actually part of lighthorse)Very unorganized service. Took forever for the food to come. Took our food to the wrong table and didn’t realize until minutes later. Took it back to the kitchen and repacked it (we ordered takeout). Would not come back.

Just arrived 45 mins before closing and asked if they were were still open and the service is picnic bench style, and they told us for food only to go.

I always wanted to try this place but the overall experience was eh . The crispy calamari was very far from crispy so I would probably update that name on the menu and an extremely small portion. The crab cake was decent but I expected more lump crab meat for the price restaurant type. It was a bit bready. The best item we had was probably the cheese burger, which at a lobster garage probably shouldn 't be the case. Probably wouldn 't go back. The employees were very nice though.

Great place! I ordered the shrimp/fries/ribs from Uber Eats (pick-up). The portion sizes were quite large and the food tasted amazing.

Breakfast on Saturdays is great. The Spanish omelette is fantastic. Staff is very nice and helpful. Make it a habit to come
