Gypsy Garden - Jerantut

My man stumbled over this place, we are so happy that we did it! the decoration is very eclectic quirky, we absolutely loved it, as different from everything we have seen while traveling in Malaysia! the food was delicious, they also for vegetarian vegan, that is a huge plus for us, as we are veggies

We are here to eat lunch and wait for our bus back to kl. the owner family is really nice and well maintained. even if there were no vegan meals in the menu, there was no problem at all. we had pasta with fresh vegetables that were really nice after staying at the national park. when they are in jerantut, they go there

The veggie lasagne was delicious. they can customize the dishes on the menu to be vegetarian or vegan.

We stumbled the gypsy garden by chance but was so pleasantly surprised! it was a small place with very eclectic decoration, but it was really the owners who felt very welcome and ensured that we had a good time. I asked if they had many vegetarian options and they explained that almost everything on the menu could be made in a vegetarian dish. I had the veggie lasagne and my partner had the Mac cheese. that was delicious and well done. we had a simple Greek salad and also some delicious juices! the owner wanted to make sure that we were satisfied with everything and we had many talks to different them. he brought a fan just for us to make sure that we were not too hot and even made the portions bigger for us, as we said we were very hungry cyclists! he was a very friendly man and his wife was also beautiful. they really made it a special experience. I'm sure if they're vegan, they'd like to make some special food for them. we recommend to visit this place when they are in the opposite!

After spending time in Taman Negara living off poorly cooked rice and veg for two days it was so nice to stumble across this lovely little garden cafe. The menu had vegetarian options but no vegan however when asked they understood fully what vegan was and offered to make us something bespoke, a delicious vegan bolognaise with loads of fresh veggies. The owners Abid and Zubinah were so friendly and kind, allowing us to stay for hours as we waited for our 2am train. They even let us stay in a private seating area after they closed up and went to bed. We felt like members of the family not just customers! Great place for any vegans visiting jerantut or waiting for a train!!
