I will not be ordering from here again. I spent $52, and it wasn't nearly enough food to serve a family. The portion sizes were unexpectedly small—those side cups are way too tiny for a family meal. Overall, the food just didn't justify the price.

This restaurant may be simple, but it's very family-friendly and clean. I appreciated the thoughtful touches in the bathroom, like the baby care amenities—it was a nice touch. The waitstaff is very attentive, which adds to the overall experience. The food is good, though there was something cold on my plate. However, that won't stop me from returning in the future.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had. People who rate this place highly must not have experienced good food before. The dishes had a tough and slimy texture and tasted horrible. Why do all the vegetarian options contain onions? Is it too much to ask for one without them? Seriously?!? On a positive note, the mashed potatoes were decent, but why was the gravy served cold? This place was just awful. Food: 1/5.

A hidden gem in Jacksonville. Wait staff is best around! Cindy and crew are top notch and ensure your food is out fast, hot, and delicious. Drinks stay full and a to-go cup always magically appears when you are almost done with your meal. Some really good bbq too. Brisket is tender, juicy, and flavorful. Ribs are meaty with just the right pull. You won’t be disappointed with the portions either, unlike other bbq places in Jax. You will leave full and satisfied.

I've heard many good things about this place and was happy to finally have a chance to give them a try.Unfortunately, the hype didn't meet my expectations. We tried the salads, one BBQ and one 3-Meat. They both contain meats that were julieneed and generous portions on top of each. The salads themselves were a good size. The dressings are homemade (Ranch and Blue Cheese were both delicious.)Service was great. There is ample parking. The interior decorations were really nice, including the signed photo of John Wayne.So why only 4 stars? Well, the meat just didn't take my breath away. I know we had rabbit food underneath but this should have been a way to sample the quality of their BBQ and my 3-meats were good, but not great. Frankly, they didn't have much flavor at all. No spice rub, no smokiness. The sauces on the table were also mediocre.If I hadn't eaten BBQ at a few other places that were exceptional, I probably would have leaned into 5 stars instead of 4, but between that and the disappointment after hearing how amazing their food is just swung me the other way.I will definitely give them another try down the road and maybe see how the ribs are, and update my review accordingly. I admit that chunks of meat vs. strips might not be a totally fair judgement, so next time I'll go for something more substantial and see how it goes.
