Wing-it - Jacksonville

When he brought over our bills, that was the only chance we had to request refills, but by then we were mostly finished. I asked to speak with the manager, explained the situation just as I have here, and she informed us that our server, Crusty, had a previous bad experience with us, which is why he wasn't attentive. We had never had any issues before this, but the manager still sided with him and suggested we ask for a different server next time. However, there won't be a next time given how poorly this was handled. I work in customer service too, and disliking someone for unknown reasons is not a valid excuse to provide poor service, especially in the service industry. The manager was polite, but that doesn't excuse professionalism. This is a weekly tradition for us, and we weren’t looking to complain or get free food. My friends make a weekly trip from Fleming Island, but clearly, our business wasn’t valued. We’ll be taking our patronage elsewhere.

This restaurant has been around for quite some time—about 20 years, I believe. My husband is very particular about wings, but even he enjoys this place. The food is delightful, and the wings are among the best in Jacksonville. We used a coupon for a deal where you buy 12 wings and get 12 free. My husband loves finding deals like that because it means he can take some home for later. The ambiance of the restaurant isn't much to write home about, but who cares about the decor when the food is so delicious? They also have a fantastic special that includes 12 wings, a drink, and fries, even without a coupon. And let me tell you, the fries are incredible too!

I just wanted to share that my son and his girlfriend not only think you have the best wings, but something even more significant happened during their visit. She took off the ring that my son gave her and placed it on the table, and they accidentally left it behind. When they returned, their waitress, Heather, was incredibly honest and had kept it safe. This gesture meant a lot to them and shows me that Wing It is a top-notch place in my eyes.

The food here is fantastic, but the restaurant could really use an update. The wings are the best in Jacksonville, but the atmosphere falls short due to the outdated carpet and seating. If they could freshen up the interior, it would elevate the experience significantly. I've never had any problems with the food itself—no bugs or hair—it's just the old decor that lets it down.

Went here for the first time since moving to the area. Ordered the garlic wings and was impressed by the fresh garlic. Looks like they make the sauces themselves which I can't say for any other wing place in the area. Like some reviews say it's a little dark but it's a sports bar and grill. Overall I like the place and think it might be a regular thing!
