Los Toros Mexican - Jacksonville

Mexican places in Jacksonville have a hard time competing with La Nopalera but this place can stand on it own among the competition. It's really good! The food comes out fast and the service is great. I came here for lunch with co-workers and it came out fast so we weren't late getting back to work like we sometimes are when going to La Nop. The atmosphere isn't the greatest but if you can look past that and just enjoy the food, you'll be back.

Stopped by for a first time visit and the food was tasty. Great service from Jose. My husbands custom chimichanga with chorizo on top he really like it. My Camarones Diablo was a good spice for me and the drinks were strong. We will come back next time we are in town.

Our favorite Mexican restaurant in town. The food is always excellent (and not greasy). We always have excellent service here and notice the manager steps in to help wherever needed. Have to give a special mention to our server Carolina who we’ve been so lucky to have several times. WOW!!! I would recommend asking for her but only if you tip well because she deserves it.
