Hot Wok - Jacksonville

I ordered my food through DoorDash, but when it arrived, more than half of it was missing. When I called to discuss the issue, the woman I spoke to immediately accused me of lying and insisted that I didn't know what I was talking about, not allowing me a chance to explain. After several minutes of trying to resolve the problem, she hung up on me and told me to call DoorDash instead. Her attitude was very rude and unpleasant, and it seemed clear that they don't prioritize their customers or their experience.

I just picked up my order from Hot Wok, and I was quite disappointed. If you’re considering ordering from them, I would advise against it. The rice was undercooked, and the broccoli tasted as if it hadn’t been cleaned properly. Overall, the flavors that you expect from Chinese food were missing—it just wasn’t tasty. This was my first time ordering from Hot Wok. While the customer service was great, the food itself fell short. We ordered three different dishes, and none of them were satisfactory.

I used to be a frequent customer, placing orders from this restaurant about twice a week because I really enjoyed their food. However, one evening, they messed up my order over the phone, which left me quite frustrated, so I decided to cancel it. Now I have to wait 3 to 5 days to receive my refund. Ultimately, I can only say that they’ve lost a loyal customer.

I was disappointed, didn't get my orange chicken, rice had hard pieces of rice in it, just a mess.

I ordered the pu pu platter, all items was not in my order, and very overcooked to the point of burnt. Was told because I took one bite of the food, it had to be untouched for replacement or money back. I had no problem returning the burnt food, I wanted a replacement but because one bite was taken I was now out my food and my 20.00. I will never be back and will make sure everyone I know, knows of the customer and food treatment.
