Crane Ramen Jacksonville

The outdoor seating both in the front and back is lovely, especially in the evenings when the atmosphere is just right. The food is excellent, with a wide variety of vegetarian options available. During my first visit, the server and host were not particularly friendly, but my second experience was much better thanks to a more pleasant server. The location is great, just a short walk away from numerous bars and shops. As for vegetarian options, there are plenty of delicious choices to satisfy those dietary preferences.

This was our third or fourth visit to Crane Ramen, and we have consistently ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen. Unfortunately, I have to say that each experience has been disappointing. The broth has always been watery and greasy, and the shimeji mushrooms lacked any flavor. The chashu was tasty, but that was the only highlight. I really hope the owners have the chance to try some authentic ramen, whether in NYC, Atlanta, or even at Modu in Baymeadows, where the broth is much richer. I sincerely hope the owners can take this feedback to heart and improve the food to match the quality of the rest of the restaurant.

Now, let's talk about the food! I ordered the “Tonkotsu” Ramen, and it was the best introduction to ramen I could have asked for! I'm so glad he recommended this incredible restaurant. Our server was also fantastic; she made it easy for me by letting me skip the chopsticks and giving me a fork instead. I promise my chopstick skills will be better next time! There will definitely be a next visit!

The food is here always hits the spot, between the ramen and the pork buns you can't go wrong (you better try the pork buns). My only gripe is the servers tend to sometimes sit in the back by the bar lurking instead of checking up on customers more. This stopped me from getting some more appetizers at the pace I'd like but it's only enough to knock 1 star off.

This food was amazing! I had a spicy tonga something bowl. My step son had something else, his had Purple broccoli! Looked pretty cool.Small place, comfortable and cool atmosphere.It is in the trendy part of town. Our two bowls came out to around 30 bucks.Has my recommendation, I know I'll be back
