Contribuiți la feedbackHaving gone to Copelands as a child, I was excited to find a location in my new town. Menu is diverse and sure to offer something for everyone. Prices may seem high but portions are very large and suitable for sharing. Have heard great things about the Sunday jazz brunch which I look fwd to trying in the ear future.
In a word, delicious. I will warn you that pretty much everything (except the biscuits) were spicy. It's a New Orleans style restaurant so they like Cajun and spices in everything. We ordered onion-mum which is in essence an onion petal, awesome blossom or whatever you want to call it and the batter in the onions were in were even spicy. That's without the sauce they give you with it. I do love their biscuits though. They are a high demand item so you have to ask for them as soon as you sit down. They are served with melting butter on top and they are so good! I ordered the lunch portion chicken Parmesan and it was spicy too but the chicken was perfectly cooked. Crispy and moist! With a huge portion of pasta and served with a biscuit! It was my first time there and I can't wait to eat there again!
Food was Luke warm, including the chargrilled oysters you can tell from the pictures they weren’t chargrilled properly or long enough (same with the Rockefeller). Shrimp didn’t look fresh in the dishes my friends had, looked like frozen pack shrimp. I just expect a bit more of an upscale dining experience for the prices paid.Food: 3/5
Food is a signature New Orleans flavor, crawfish on point, shrimp overcooked though, banana foster French toast ?, daiquiri keeps you cool, or server was absent tee , says she's only been serving since last year... Girl, ?! But I still really enjoyed my first visit for brunch. It won't be my last.Food: 5/5
We went for the Sunday brunch buffet. I usually hate those, but my friend insisted it was great. I wish I had a bigger stomach. Everything was delicious. The man running the omelette station was a tad bit rude, but whatever. I can’t wait to go back!Edit: I went back…it was not what it was the first time, which I’m stating to think was a fluke. Plus, our waitress bullied us into a tip and she didn’t even do anything.
