El Chivito D'oro - Jackson Heights

This is a very family-friendly spot with great food. It's not fancy, but it's cozy and comfortable—a little piece of South American life right in Queens! The parrillada, chivito, and lengua a la vinagreta are all amazing. Everything is fantastic! Food: 5/5

I've always found the food here to be fantastic. My family and I visit frequently when we want a hearty meal. While the food is excellent, the service can be inconsistent—often falling short. There are times when the waitstaff can come off as rude or seem annoyed when you request something. Additionally, I wish there were more space, as the tables are quite close together. Despite these issues with service and the cramped atmosphere, the delicious food more than makes up for it.

I've been coming here for as long as I can remember. If you're looking for Uruguayan parillada, this is the place to be. They offer everything from parilladas to empanadas to postre Chaja. Food: 5/5.

Nice spot to try if you are craving steak different ways. The chivito is a sandwich. We had the steak version which was delicious. We also had the steak with sauteed onions. Great for this that love onions they were cooked to perfection! Portion size is big so you can definitely share.The staff is very friendly and attentive.

Food is good, but it is a lot of meat so it is a little too much for me. Papaya shake is pretty good. I also like their complimentary bread with chimichurri sauce. Portion is huge, price is a little expensive, but then again it's all meat so it makes sense.Food: 3/5
