Mürver - Istanbul

The restaurant was great but I didnt really like the bar side<br/ <br/ We went here as a couple on a Saturday night, everything we had was really delicious to be honest, great starters a delicious meal and an amazing selection of extraordinary wines. Our waiter was also terrific, so polite. This is rare in istanbul as for some reason waiters in good restaurants act like they own the place or something so having a good service is special. We went there quite early as they only had a table available between 6pm and 9pm. We arrived, ate, and around 9pm the waiter politely invited us to the bar where we could finish our wine and have more drinks.<br/ <br/ The waiters in the bar section I thought were not well trained and the quality of service just dropped. I mean it would be OK under normal circumstances in a bar not to expect good service but this is supposed to be a top notch restaurant so i don't think they should be able to afford to have poor service.<br/ <br/ I mean i had a good experience overall and i would recommend anyone to go and try it out but i don't think it will be a restaurant I personally would revisit. Unfortunately this is an issue in istanbul as there are many signature restaurants that are unable to maintain a good quality service and well trained personnel.

Amazing food, we had the grilled octopus, artichoke and mürver salad, everything was delicious. The service was also very good. But the most outstanding was the view of the Bosphorus. Ambience was very chill and relaxed.

We went for dinner and we all got amazed!! The restaurant located on top of novotel, has a great view to Bosporus, is really clean and cozy and has great service. All the plates we ordered were delicious and every time something was landed on our table the waiter explained us what exactly the plate contains. I recommend this restaurant for everyone who visits Istanbul!

This rooftop restaurant has gorgeous views especially at sunset! We went there for bites and drinks so we sat at the bar and ordered some appetizers which were great but not really worth all the hype around this restaurant. It was actually recommended to us by locals so I’m assuming their main dishes are amazing. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in the area

A restaurant with good view and solid food. We particularly enjoyed the grilled peaches, and the vegetable main course. The dessert was mediocre. Price is a bit high for Istanbul $100 for two). Worth a casual meal if you are in the area, but not a special visit.
