Verde Basilico - ISPICA

We went to Verde Basilico last night, as we often do since the beginning of April .. The place is informal, the cuisine with typical dishes that you can find almost everywhere in this area. Very crowded place where very often you happen to be in the middle of a baptism, a birthday party with Karaoke, but we walk there from home and it 's ok. Last supper on May 31st. Yesterday they present us the new menu, new only for the prices. Raw fish from one week to the next went from € 30 to € 50, first courses from € 14/16 to € 20/22 and everything consequently. I asked for an explanation and they replied that they have adapted to the other restaurants. We get up, say goodbye, take the scooter and go to dinner at Lampara, a kilometer away, where the cuisine is very similar, but at least you dine on the sea and there has been no adjustment of prices. Let 's see in October, when we stay here in 4 cats, if you can do without the people who live here, but they won 't come to you anymore. This is not Porto Cervo..

Been to Basilico 5 times during our nearby holiday stay each time we were surprised with yet another burst of flavour pistachio pasta was amazing and also mortadella pizza to die for. Desserts also to recommend panna cotta and tiramisu. There isnt many good places around and the other place nearby was always closed .... service doesnt speak much English but they were so nice and accomodating we made it work with little words there and there. Wine was SO good and such great value really Good Italian food. 5 stars.

We've eaten here twice this week and can't fault the place. The food we had fish one night and pizzas the other and the service were excellent on both occasions. An added bonus is that the house wine (white) was very drinkable and at 6 euros a litre is a bargain!

Pizza presa da asporto molto buona. Abbiamo preso una margherita e una pizza con mortadella e pistacchio, entrambe molto buone. Servizio rapido. Consigliamo vivamente!

Abbiamo cenato qui a inizio e alla fine della vacanza, e vi assicuro che ne vale la pena. Abbiamo mangiato sempre piatti a base di pesce, dal crudo al pesce alla griglia e ai primi. Tutto ottimo e i prodotti freschissimi. Personale molto cordiale e servizio veloce e non troppo formale, il che ci ha fatto sentire molto a nostro agio. Prezzi giusti o quasi sotto la media. Consiglio lo spaghetto verde basilico della casa e anche l'antipasto tutto mare dove ci sono assaggi di ogni tipo. Da provare assolutamente!
