Cafe Barendorf - Iserlohn

After visiting the Christmas market, we wanted to let the evening end at Cafe Barendorf. We ate to dinner for two. There was only one day card with 5 dishes with a self-contained compilation. Kohlroulade with red cabbage and potatoes. I chose the deer goulash with late zle and cranberry berry. The food was on the table shortly. The pear didn't exist. With the remark, pears we no longer have, they served me without asking a peach. Gulasch, a few pieces in sauce that ran over the edge of the plate and was very unappetic. I was hungry and I got tired, it wasn't a pleasure. My companion took the cabbage routine, actually white cabbage served with red cabbage. Tasteful canteen very similar. On my question whether it was homemade, you answered yes.I don't know how the dishes of the usual menu are, we can't recommend this restaurant.

Im historischen Fabrikdorf "Maste-Barendorf" gelegen, lädt dieses Café den Wanderer, Radfahrer (nebenan verläuft der Radweg von Iserlohn zur Ruhr) zum Verweilen ein. Eine große Wiese nebenan bietet genügend Platz zum Spielen für die Kinder. Die Küche ist einfach, aber gut und nicht zu teuer. Der Biergarten ist, besonders im Sommer, spitze.

Das Café punktet durch eine ideale Lage im historischen Museumsdorf Barendorf. Zwischen den historischen Fachwerkhäusern und großen gepflegten Rasenflächen samt komplett neu errichteten Kinderspielplatz kann man wunderbar bei Kaffee, Kuchen oder Weizenbier sitzen und den Sonnenschein genießen.Die direkte Anbindung an das Radwegenetz macht dieses Café besonders auch für Radfahrer zu einem interessanten Ziel.

At Café Barendorf you get good food at reasonable prices. After a pleasant walk we were able to enjoy the sun in the outdoor area through the historical museum and the artist village. There is a star trigger for the unfortunately not so well maintained toilets. A great place also for children, with playground and small watercourse.

Very cozy. Food Top! If we are close to the bike, always catch a place! You have to try the sülze!
