Steak 'n Shake - Irving

Almost fully automatic burger place, no waiters, you order on kiosk. Just down....no more burger with roasted egg?

This place is absolutely FILTHY!!! None of the chefs wear gloves. The main chef, who prepared our food, took garbage from the ground, BLEW HIS NOISE, and then continued to add Hamburger buns to the oven with his bare hands. He just rushed to wear gloves after he saw that I made pictures of him. I asked to speak to the manager and was met by a young Indian man with a terrible attitude under the name DISHANT, who replied very laboriously that he was actually the owner. When I asked about his name, he refused to give it to me and told me to look at my receipt. When I informed him about the cook that prepared our food, he told us the only thing he could do was to give a refund. He didn't care how our food was prepared. I don't know what health code regulations are in India, but here in AMERICA we wash our hands and wear gloves before we prepare the foods of people. If this is what they do in front of customers, imagine what they do with our food in the back. If you want COVID, food poisoning or other types of diseases, this is the perfect place to catch it. I'll report this facility to the health department in the morning. DISGUSTING!

No good value. Half of the meat was missing from my burger, who only filled the Pommestube halfway. Forgot my tomatoes on my burger. Food: 2/5

I had a love hate relationship with Steak and Shake for 20 years. Love her food, hate her service. In recent years, many sites have closed down, which is sad, but reasonable bc of their bad service (each location in the USA). I work near this one and noticed today that it was open. I was very happy, but nervous about how the drive of everything would be. I haven't waited for a long time and ordered my food again. It was fresh and delicious. This place achieved the years of bad service experiences!

I ordered a late fries and this is what yall gave me? Smh. Won't be going back.
