Italian Café - Irving

This restaurant is a truly wonderful place for Italian food. It has a fantastic location, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The dishes are delightful, and the portions are quite generous — we couldn't finish everything on our plates!

This was hands down the best sandwich I've ever had! The toasted chicken and pesto were absolutely amazing. If you're in the area and looking for food, do yourself a favor and stop by this place. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu! Additionally, the service was outstanding. I let them know I needed to be in and out quickly, and they were very accommodating and friendly. Unfortunately, I didn't have a strong appetite, so I didn't sample much from the menu. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad and a slice of pizza. The pizza reminded me of one I've made myself; I could almost identify the specific brands used. It was delicious, though. I plan to return to try other dishes.

The food was authentic and delicious, but there is room for improvement in the service. Customers are invited to sit at any available table, but it took about 10 minutes for a waitress to arrive and take our order, and she didn't greet us properly. Despite there only being 4 or 5 occupied tables and 3-4 waitstaff on duty, everything moved at a slow pace. If they can enhance their customer service, we would definitely return for the tasty food.

Wow! This pesto is incredibly flavorful, creamy, and delicious! The chicken is juicy and seasoned to perfection—definitely a 10/10; I could eat this every day! Their appetizer bread is crispy on the outside, buttery, and fluffy on the inside—also a perfect 10/10!
