Authentic Filipino restaurant with traditional dishes. Items are flavorful, experiential, and thoroughly enjoyable. Very glad to have been recommended this place and will be going back! There is also a small shop inside with various comfort foods and brands from the Philippines.
Did an online search for Filipino restaurants and this came up. Unfortunately my experience was very poor. Service was not prompt at all. The first greeting was “are you ready?”. No introduction, no hello. I think the server hated being there. When the entree arrived I moved things around on my table so the area directly in front of me was clear. Yet, the server placed my entree on the other end of the table which I had to get up to go get it. I would have ordered dessert but I wasn’t asked or offered.I really wanted and hoped for a great experience as there are no Filipino restaurants around where I live. Suggestion to the owners… be “welcoming” to your customers. When they feel welcomed and appreciated, they will return often. Unless you are so successful that first time visitors don’t matter to you. From the looks of the business flow, this is not the case.
I was not impressed by this place at all. When entering, it said wait to be seated, but we had to hunt a person down to be seated. There was packaging everywhere, making it just feal cheap and unorganized. When ordering, the staff just didn't care about us and just felt like they had complete disregard for us and only wanted us to not be there. We traveled over 3 hours to bring a large group (14) here. Most others were okay with it, but no one was impressed. The food looked good and the fish was flakey, but it seemed like nothing had any flavor. Or, if it had flavor, the only flavor was a sweet/vinegar flavor and it was not just enjoyable to me.Maybe I am thinking about the whole idea incorrectly, since how this place operated was very much how it felt in most places in the Philippines when we were there... so, I guess it was very authentic, but not what I want.
Vegetarian options are available, and the food can be customized to accommodate dietary restrictions. It's also kid-friendly, as kids can choose fried rice. Plus, the restaurant is wheelchair accessible.
