Chicken Salad Chick - Irving

The chicken salads here are outstanding, and the broccoli salad is delicious as well. I’ve placed several small orders and a few large ones for family gatherings, and everything has always been accurate, consistent, and tasty. I haven’t dined in, so I can't comment on the dining experience, but everyone has always been kind and helpful when taking my orders.

This restaurant is incredibly efficient and accurate with their deliveries! We placed a large order for 12 people, and naturally, I was worried about potential mistakes or missing items. However, the restaurant nailed it 100%! Everything was perfect, from the meals and side dishes to the exact number of salad dressings, drinks, straws, and utensils. Everything was labeled, organized, and arrived on time. I was truly impressed!

I adore this restaurant! Their chicken salad is, by far, the best I've ever had, and I keep returning for the great consistency and variety of options. Each meal comes with an extra bowl of chicken salad, crackers, a pickle, and a cookie, which is fantastic! I do wish they were open later, but I'm always excited to go there for lunch.

That was my only experience with Chicken Salad Chick. Maybe it was an exception from the rule. When ordering on the counter I have sweated with my wife, but loud enough for the employees to hear that, I can say I will not want to because I do not see any pizza or burgers everywhere. I laughed like I said, and I didn't mean it as an insult. It was just a way to break the ice and laugh. Finally, the decor is clearly intended to provide women, so men can 't help but feel a little out of place in such settings. We're wired, but we're fine. We're just treating it by trying to get humor. The light-hearted nature of my comment could not have been more obvious. But the appearance I got from the staff suggested that either they didn't get my joke or that they didn't make their thoughts laugh. I don't expect me to laugh at all my jokes, but that was pretty embarrassing. I apologized and explained why I was joking about it. Nothing yet. I thought they were from their customer service game, or maybe they couldn't hear me through my mask... and then I went to the toilet room. In the men's room there is a placard above the urinal that has read, gentlemen? porcelain pigs, rustic snails and washboard decoration at your grill stands do not threaten our feminity. So we do not think that it is too much to ask you to say the stupid names [of their meals] and to sit in a few flowers [tablecloth] for an hour. Thanks for understanding. It means a lot to us. That's when I realized that, funny or not, my jokes were not to laugh, legit, sympathy or otherwise. It seems to be a chip on the shoulder and as a man I did not feel welcome. After said, the food is really delicious enough for me to be another, but not tasty enough to go back and be treated with indifference to be a man. If you want a delicious chicken salad sandwich, get it at Chicken Salad Chick. But after the urinal poster and my personal experience, there is an expectation you need to live if you want friendly service.

Surprised at how much I liked this place. Barbie-Q (BBQ) chicken salad on a croissant and the Buffalo Barclay chicken salad were both excellent and don't sleep on the sugar cookies! The Loaded Potato Chicken Florentine Soup, Broccoli salad and Grape salad were all great too!
