Riverside Tea Room - Ironbridge

I stopped by and enjoyed a delicious vegan hot chocolate. The staff were friendly, and there were plenty of tasty and sweet options to choose from, suggesting they have a rotating menu. Today, they had Lotus Biscoff cake and a one-pot dish available.

We enjoyed a mix of both vegan and non-vegan dishes, and everything was wonderful. I particularly liked the butternut quesadilla and the butter bean stew, followed by a delicious piece of salted caramel cake. The service was prompt and the staff were friendly. It would have been even better if they had milk available, but overall, we had a lovely lunch there.

I visited this restaurant after hearing about their vegan toasties, but when I went at the end of August 2022, the menu only featured vegan cakes and drinks. The location by the River Severn is lovely, with beautiful outdoor seating, but the food options for vegans were quite limited.

Please offer more choice than advertised.
