Verandina - Imperial Beach

We have eating at Italian restaurants all over the US and I have to tell you the food and service at Verandina are in the top of five of anywhere we have ever dined. What a special place. The next time we come to CA Verandina is a definite and thanks Cody.

This is the best spot for a nice dinner in Imperial Beach. We ate there twice while we were staying at the South Pier. The lobster lasagna is a must.

I came with a friend and had an amazing time! We watched the sunset from the upstairs dining room and participated in their cheese wheel Wednesday!! So yummy and so cheesy! It was a fettuccini with truffle cream, broccoli and chicken, which was then stirred into a huge cheese wheel right at our table!! We shared some apps i insisted on the oysters carbonara and the bombolone, and my friend got the truffle Arancini they were all so unique and so so good. We were pretty full but I can’t deny a good Italian dessert she got the tiramisu and I got the deconstructed cannoli and it was worth it!! We had a bottle of Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio to go with our meal so refreshing and nice for the summer. I will be back again, probably this weekend!!

Such a great addition to Imperial Beach! I’m absolutely in love with Verandina! Their food is so delicious! I’m a big lover of Italian food, I tried their gnocchi with crab meat. I will definitely go back soon to try more dishes! Also their design is incredible, it’s very chic and stylish!

We had an amazing dinner there. I had the Linguine with clams, it was so fresh and flavorful. My husband had salmon dish, he loved it too. Wine selection is the best in Imperial Beach. We were seating upstairs overlooking the ocean. Dessert was homemade deconstructed cannolis very nice creative touch, you basically have cream and broken shell, so you scoop the cream yourself with the crispy cannoli shells, we loved it!!!
