True Texas Bbq - Huntsville

I recently ordered a to-go meal consisting of a two-meat plate and received only two slices of brisket and three small slices of turkey. I paid around $16 for this meal, which feels quite pricey given the portion size. It's disappointing to feel still hungry after spending nearly $20 on food and a drink.

As for parking, since the restaurant is located in a busy grocery store, finding a spot can be a challenge.

Save your time and skip this place. The food is served cold, and the ribs are primarily bone. It's also difficult to locate. They don’t even have lemon for the tea—how can this be called authentic Texas barbecue? The barbecue sauce arrives ice cold, and I found myself questioning if we were even still in Texas. This is not real Texas barbecue.

Ordered on line, went to pick up. They then told me they were out of ribs, they replaced it with brisket. I had already ordered brisket I had no way to tell if they gave me more, it was not very much regardless. It tasted ok, Cole slaw was decent, but no bread, pickles or barbecue sauce. I was really disappointed.

I gotta say this was the worst brisket sandwich I have ever had. They are not removing the fat section of the brisket and serving the fat as the meal. I took all the portions of fat from my sandwich and put it on a napkin and placed it on their counter. I told them this is the absolute worst brisket I have ever received. I did not ask, but after I brought the pile of fat that I left on the counter, they brought me more brisket. I was appreciative until I looked at what was brought, and it was more of the fat layer. Absolutely the worst brisket I have ever seen and ever paid for. I will not ever go here again. Also their were so many flies..
