Donut Wheel - Huntsville

A couple of years ago, we stopped by this place for breakfast during our vacation. My wife insists to everyone she meets that they had the best donuts she’s ever tasted; it’s become a never-ending topic of conversation! Tonight, while having dinner with friends from Huntsville, they began their usual discussion about great food, and sure enough, they mentioned "The Donut Wheel!" I'm writing this review mainly to remember the name so we can return one day.

My wife's favorite donut stop. Often crowded with friendly people. Service is fast, parking is sometimes sketchy. Great place. Wife loves eclairs, ham and cheese kolaches and I get the breakfast tacos.

The Croissant Kolache was worth it. They only flavored a sausage and cheese. The Cappuccino machine broke on our 2nd drink.

Delicious, friendly and very expensive. Would give me 10 if I could.

Every student at Sam should definitely try Donut Wheel at least once. It has become a bit of a tradition to stay up until they open at 4 a.m. When I arrived at 3:50, there was already a line stretching to the door. The woman working behind the counter is incredibly kind, and the selection of donuts is fantastic and very affordable. I got half a dozen for under $3. My favorites were the coconut and cinnamon flavors. It’s also a unique experience to hear the prison guards chat about inmates and stories from the night before.
