Buddy's -b-que Shack - Hunt

I had a fantastic experience! It’s a very family-friendly place with delicious food. I especially loved the ribs!

Make sure to arrive early, as like many small BBQ joints in Texas, they serve until they run out of meat. The outdoor seating is lovely, surrounded by trees and nice views. The brisket and sausage are flavorful, and I actually enjoyed one of the few sauces offered, which is sweeter than what you typically find in Texas BBQ. They also have sweet potato salad, which is a nice twist. If you’re in Hunt, TX, it’s definitely worth a visit, but I wouldn’t go too far out of my way for it.

Buddy’s is the BEST BBQ this side of the Mississippi. It’s the place we want to highly recommend but we also want to get there before YOU!
