Gilbert Co. - Humble

I've been frequenting Gilbert Co. FOR a couple of times and I have yet to be disappointed. The one time there was a mix up in my order they gladly fixed it. They can count on me to be a returning customer!!

This place is amazing! I had the gumbo and brisket and both were fantastic. They were so kind served us personally on our film set and it truly is great bbq with an amazing, smokey aroma.

Food was great! Better than I expected honestly. Good smokey flavor, big portions, and quality cuts of meat.

Their BBQ is top notch! Tender and flavorful, their sauce is very good and you also get a very generous portion, especially love the ribs and brisket but the sausage is good too. Their loaded potatoes are also amazing! I also really love their soul food on Sunday, really yummy yams, mac and peach cobbler, I’ve never been disappointed with their menu but on Sundays they really show out! The sweet older woman who works on weekends sometimes is truly the best, she is an angel and reminds me of my own grandmother.

This BBQ restaurant is absolutely amazing. I ordered the Big Daddy Kartoffel with a side of greens. The potato was huge, cooked to perfection, and loaded with some of the best BBQ I've ever tasted. The greens were also perfect - perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and a perfect portion size. They were the best greens I've ever had. To top it off, I washed it all down with a fresh squeezed strawberry lemonade that was truly magnificent. It wasn't too sweet or too sour, just fantastic. This place is a must-visit in Houston.
