Waipuna Sushi - Honolulu

Sushi here tastes good, over par with other Takeout Sushi places. Some of their articles are a little better. However, it is somewhat more expensive than average.

Food ain?t great and sushi taste fish. In addition, customer service is somewhat disappointing. Can communicate well (almost no English) and it takes some time to answer the phone to place my order. It will skip and go for another sushi place that can communicate better.

This place is a total rip off. 3 rolls for $40 for take away fast food sushi is ridiculous. On top of that they are very cheap with the tempura and soft shell crab rolls. It wasn?t even real soft shell crab. Both the tempura and soft shell crab is just deep fried batter.

Awesome sushi and platters! There are not many sushi places open late, and these prices are hard to beat! Very friendly and helpful staff, conveniently located in Manoa with parking right out front.
