Sixty Six - Hollywood

Came here looking for Now Boarding (an old spot I used to go to when I lived in LA) and was initially disappointed that it had been replaced. However, my disappointment immediately faded as I walked in. The new decor is so charming and fun! It also wasn't super crowded on a Thursday night so we easily ordered our gin and tonics and found a booth. Would definitely come here again.

Nothing special about this place. I heavy sigh every time my friends say we should come here. Not to mention they will kick you out after 1:00 if the bar isn't busy enough. Why isn't it busy? Oh wait...no one wants to go there. This place used to be called Now Boarding which was an equally shitty bar. There are so many cool bars in LA all that I ask is you put in A LITTLE effort.

Spoke to the manager about renting this place out I'm 100% positive he pulled a number out of his a and went with it. $21K for ONE evening?! LMAO. Trying to charge a $1,000 minimum PER HOUR is laughable. By that math, the cost should only be $5,000 yet he tried backpedaling and saying he'd give me a discounted rate of $15,000. Time to get your head outta the clouds go back to math school, dude.

In this case, simple is not a pejorative... A pretty low-key spot on a Tuesday night with great service and great cocktails!

This place rocks! A hometown bar vibe with non pretentious people and amazing cocktails! It's obvious they care about the vibe and their customers and truly enjoy their work. The music is on point with throwback tracks mixed in with modern tunes. Everyone always has a good time here and it's the perfect spot to go when you want to unwind and simply enjoy your night! Their cocktail selection is amazing and their frozen drinks are beyond amazing! Definitely a spot to be a regular at! Try the Og frozen drink or their margarita!
