The Connection Cafe - Holbrook

The service at this restaurant is excellent, and my daughter and I have visited many times since relocating to Holbrook. The only area that could use some improvement is the coffee; it's only decent at best. Also, I recently found out there's a $2 upcharge for choosing raisin bread over white, which caught me off guard!

This restaurant really doesn't live up to its former glory. I ordered fresh-squeezed orange juice, which costs almost $6, but it was mostly watered down. It took 40 minutes to receive our food for a table of two, and the home fries were undercooked. Overall, I was quite disappointed. The waitress was the highlight of the experience—she was very kind. The customer service from the bartender, Brooke, was disappointing. While she provided excellent service to the parties beside us, my wife and I felt neglected. She forgot to give us utensils, overlooked an item from our order, and didn't check on us after our food was served. I've never had a negative experience at Connection Cafe before, but after today, I'm not sure I'll be coming back.
