I suspect our waiter forgot about us since after waiting 30 minutes for a check we had to go request one . End to end almost 2 hours between seating we arrived about 140 and I missed my 330 train because the service was slow. Food was ok but the service was so bad we'll go somewhere else next time
Second time here and the food and service is excellent. A very long wait if you go in the morning vs. a 10min wait at 2pm. We enjoyed everything we ordered.
Excellent breakfast spot, especially when the weather is warm enough for outdoor seating. Be sure to order the GRANDE HUEVOS RANCHEROS. It has to be their best item in the menu. Air con doesn’t work well in summer.
Very good location and options for vegetarians. Their service is very good. They are a little busier so reservations are needed.
Maybe not the most family-friendly establishment. I visited on a quiet Friday morning, and initially I was impressed. We were given a large table in order to bring our baby and her stroller into the restaurant. HOWEVER, the visit turned south when we needed to change our baby’s diaper. Our daughter is currently in the alligator crawl phase—so we asked politely if we could both enter a restroom (which was completely empty and not busy) to change her diaper. Apparently this warrants a manger’s permission—and yet the manager could not bother to come to speak to us themselves. Upon entering the WOMENS restroom, it was abundantly clear the changing table is broken. It is missing the strap required for safe usage-as stated on the device. Furthermore, it was quite dirty and I had to clean it (after cleaning I realized it was broken). The MEN’s restroom had an equally dirty table, which again my husband had to clean and no trash can. It made it extremely different as I had to stand out the men’s restroom, grab trash, and bring it to the women’s restroom. It was absurd-equally fixed if I could have just accompanied him. I had to also stand outside and sing to keep my child from screaming. Again, I couldn’t do it because the table was broken in the women’s. Like I’m not sure where to honestly start. First, you state I can’t enter—which I don’t know how much they can technically say. I thought in 2024 we were beyond barring people from restrooms based on gender. In fact, google can not provide me with law stating it’s illegal. In fact it can maybe be construed as the opposite—that denying is questionable—but again I’m not a lawyer. Not having a proper receptacle in the men’s restroom as well as a broken changing table is equally concerning. I thought NJ law required receptacles for waste—in this case, diapers. Again not a lawyer. If you have a changing table, you need a trash can. So moral of the story—hope you don’t need to change a diaper here.
