Shepherd (the) The Knucklehead

I visited this restaurant last night with my boyfriend, who is a big fan of craft beer. The menu looked fantastic and we were not disappointed! They have an impressive selection of 60 beers on tap. We each tried a flight and also ordered nachos, fish tacos, and a burger. My boyfriend exclaimed that it was the best burger he had ever tasted, which is high praise coming from him. The meat was cooked perfectly and of excellent quality. This place has quickly become our favorite spot. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. We're hoping they start showing boxing and MMA fights soon.

Had a lot of fun at the NJ Tap Takeover food wise, I had the BBQ Pork Sliders and the Wings... both excellent. Beer wise they had a huge list of NJ beers so the selection was perfect (looks like they normally have massive local tap list, but this was above and beyond anything else in NJ for the event) but being a brewer, the glasses were 'beer clean ', the taps well cared for, and everything was served to style.

Had some friends in town so we decided to take them to the Shep for dinner. After a week in the city, our friends kept saying that it was their favorite meal yet! The buffalo chicken spring rolls are a must and the rest of the table loved the jalapeño poppers as well. You really can't go wrong with all of their beers! Wish I remembered our servers name because she was great and very attentive!
