Cascade Brewery - Hobart

Worth a visit. ties many boxes. location service beer food ambience value low fat low sodium (not) hand cutting potato cake in beerbatter. 10/10

When we had teenagers with us, we skipped the tours for lunch in the gardens a tasting paddle of beer and apple wine. the paddle itself was 4 x 7oz glasses, with a decent selection. the bartender also recommended that we drink less than 2 when we drive, unless we stayed awhile eating. the meals were all decent size. we shared 2 pizzas, fish N chips and wedge between 4 of us, and we couldn't eat it all. the pizza bases were really good, with fresh toppings. a jazz quartet added to a delightful afternoon.

Coming back down Mt Wellington. My work colleague and I were looking for a drink and feed. Cascade brewery popped up in the “near by” so we made the trip. Nice variety of beers and food. We opted for the Beef burger that was excellent with crispy chips and a cold pot of beer Would come back for a basic feed. (Other options like pasta available)

Very happy to have a few beers and snack that turned into a meal here. Started with cheese platter and beer paddle taster ended up with kids cheese burgers garlic and cheese pizza chicken burger and so on. Staff very accommodating and friendly good vibe with a beer pouring competition too. Walked around the gardens that were beautiful. Shop to buy everything Cascade and their beer and cider products too. Recommend.
