The Square Cafe - HINGHAM

A wonderful experience … the food was excellent and prepared very nicely .. the service was kind and attentive … and the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable.

The food is fantastic and matched by the great service by the entire wait staff.

I have been twice and ordered the same thing twice. I love the homemade dumplings and their yellow noodles. It is a special occasion place for us. The restaurant is in a beautiful part of Hingham, too.

Was not in square cafe for years and then only lunch. but as a friend gave us a gc in exchange for some working, we decided to use it on our jubilee. good decision. square cafe can be loud, and it was when we arrived, but shortly after that the dinge stopped and we could hear ourselves, no problem. I had the filet, usually not my first choice due to a typical lack of taste, but because it came with a blue-cheese butter and our waitress recommended it, I gave it a jump. not only was it one of the best tenderloins I've ever had, it was up there with the best steaks I've ever had. really lukewarm. I was sad when it was gone. my man had the bolognese he said was pretty good. he made the mistake to cost my shares, and commented that my was better. service was attentive and funny (then kate). I have to say I never had a server that gave me their card at the end of the night. but if I asked for a server with name, the new trend is, then I would like to ask for a cat.

First time to the Square Café on a recommendation of a colleague. It will definitely not be our last visit! Wonderful location, ambiance, service and superb food! We decided to try it before a show at the Music Circus, and it was well worth it!
