Tetsumen Ramen - Hilo

I really enjoyed the vegan ramen at this restaurant. It's the best I've had since my time in Japan. The curry flavor was a nice added bonus.

This place has the best rams I had in hilo by far, and each bowl is very customizable. not many vegetarian vegan options, as it has a pig-skin menu. updated by previous review on 2022-06-08

Delicious rams with decent part! yummy broth! remember tokio, japan! do not wait for 2 clock. warm and friendly service! if you want a place to put and relax with air conditioning, choose this restaurant.

One of the best Rammen shops I've ever been! I spent two years in japan and this restaurant is the most authentic Rammen shop I had in the usa the broth is so tasteful that it is almost impossible to leave any of them in the bowl left! I also had their Japanese pudding, which tasted much like flan, and it was also very delicious! definitely recommend to try when they visit the big island! I was 4 weeks here and ate 3 times in this restaurant!

We stopped by here when we got off the plane (on our way to volcano national park). I was pleasantly surprised at how vegetarian friendly they were! I initially thought they got my order wrong when I saw the mock meat. The broth was miso based and delicious! The noodles were perfect. I'm really happy to have stumbled on this place after looking for a nearby cafe that had a long wait. I was in Honolulu last week and this place has so much better ramen!
