My partner and I live very close to this fish and chip shop and we frequently get chips from here. The portions are large and perfectly cooked, wrapped up nicely in traditional chip shop paper. As a vegan, I always order the veggie spring rolls, which are absolutely delicious. The mushy peas and curry sauce are also very tasty. My partner usually opts for the battered sausage or chicken and he always enjoys it, saying it's a good size.

Yesterday evening, I went to a restaurant to get fish and chips. I have been a customer for many years, but after my experience on April 6th, 2021, I will not be returning. I took my meal home and found that the chips were extremely hard, and the batter on the fish was also hard as well. It seemed like the food had been reheated and was not freshly cooked. This was only at six o'clock in the evening.

This is the best fish and chip shop in the area, and it always has been. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is consistently great, and they are always willing to cook something fresh if it's not already prepared.
