Sandy's - HIGHWOOD

This is the type of “greasy spoon”, where the waitress calls you honey, the food is simple and good, and the fairy crowd all know each other. A good place to go when you are homeweh for a small town diner type of experience. Can't say enough about it, and that's right after my first time here!

You go to this place and feel immediately warm and welcome. The atmosphere has a strong feeling of community, service is wonderful and food is fresh and delicious!

I've been going to Sandy's since Sandy had it, and now his lead from her daughter. Great food and coffee, I enjoy the neighborhood feeling. If you go alone, they prefer that you are sitting at the counter, only in case you are covided hesitating, bring a friend, sitting in a stand, classic diner recipe.

The owner Darcy is such a friendly, happy person who brings her to a classic highwood breakfast diner. The food is delicious with many classic American breakfast options served always hot with fresh ingredients a smile!

To those who know my experience was a different type. This is DONNA from grannies.. My heart has been smiling for weeks. The kindness.. Generous act recieved. The confidence that i still can do my job...has been restored.. For that i will NEVER forget. Tks... Need to see ya again...too say it in person.. LOVE. Donna
