Kay's Cafe - Highland

Owner has horrible customer service. Missing item when I got home but was given a tortillas in replace. Owner was very rude about it. Demanded the tortillas back before receiving what I ordered. Which was fine it was just the way she acted about it. My family will never order from them again. Her face is just unpleasant as well.

I typically don't do this type of BAD REVIEW, but because of what just happened I feel the need to. My Wife and I are people of color and we were not treated warmly here at ALL!! Came in sat down, and were IGNORED. THE STAFF made a point to walk around us, not greet us, but greeted other people. Only difference between my Wife and those other folks were YOU GUESSED IT OUR COLOR. We went to another Cafe, Molly's in San Bernardino and were treated like HUMANS

It was a long wait for them to take my order. Food was not hot and my eggs were overcooked, I would have sent them back, but they never came back to check on us. The corned beef was ok, but for the price one can get better food for less. Over $4.00 for ice tea.

Kay's Cafe is a great little secret. I love the B.L.A.T. sandwich and the French Toast is always perfect! I wish they had one closer to my home!

Food was good and the lady who served us was great. When we walked in it wasn't busy. We were seated right away. Food came out quickly and our waitress stayed up on on our drinks. This place definitely had a feel as if it catered to a mature demographic but surprisingly the salt and other seasonings were present
