Al Raj Indian - Highland

I was highly recommended to try this Indian restaurant in Nairn, and I was not disappointed. The food was perfectly cooked and the prices were reasonable. The delivery also arrived at my residence within 30 minutes. I couldn't fault the service provided by the young staff. Thank you and keep up the good work. I hope to visit again soon.

We passed this little restaurant on a walk through Nairn from the caravan park. It was advertising buffets on a Sunday, when we phoned to book they said they weren’t doing buffets because of Covid restrictions, however offered us a table buffet for 5. Restaurant...was quiet when we arrived at 6pm, we were seated at a large table, we had poppadoms and sauces followed by a generous plate of mixed starters. We then had a selection of four different curries, a potato side dish, plain and peshwari naans, and rice. There was lots of food and kids really enjoyed trying the different dishes. Staff were very friendly and attentive, would thoroughly recommend and will be back next time we are in Nairn.

We couldn’t have a trip to Nairn without a visit to our favourite Indian restaurant. We have been coming every year for the last 15 years and it’s always excellent. Food was beautifully cooked rice perfect and the best nan bread I’ve ever had .No...children with us (they are all grown up) but if you have children they make them feel very special.

The restaurant is cold, menu does not have a great choice for vegetarians. Veg pakora had more batter than veg. Ordered a mater paneer which is a dish made with peas, chef obviously didnt know this, not a pea in sight . Not Impressed at...all. Dont think I would rush back.
