Tomich Cafe - Highland

I stopped by this restaurant for a quick bite today and it was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The manager even checked in to see if we were enjoying our meal, which we were! I had soup, cheese scones, and the largest pot of tea with free refills. It was great value for the price. The desserts looked amazing, so I will definitely try them next time I visit, which won't be too far off. Don't miss out on this hidden gem on the A9.

Wonderful cafe! Staff (Lyndsey Claire were sooo lovely, friendly and welcoming as was the manager (Ian . Food was amazing! We returned a few times within our weeks stay this year (after stopping in last year! and can highly recommend the coffee, cakes, scones and fab cooked breakfasts! Cannot recommend enough! If you're in the area, pop in! Still haven't sampled the mac cheese though! Gutted! Keep up the good work you lovely bunch! Mark Lou Xx

On our way to tesco today so because the dalmore is not open till tomorrow thought we would come here for breakfast! Only 5 cars in car park so wasn’t busy! Sat down at table! No hello good morning! No menu’s on table so thought the waitress would be over but only got a glare from the older one! Still waiting when a woman came in and went to the counter and ordered soup, she was served straight away! So I said to my husband I had better go up! I noticed the menu on the counter and a young girl took my order! I said I didn’t know you had to come to the counter to order! She didn’t say anything! The young waitress came over with our tea and coffee! We waited nearly half an hour for our breakfast and it wasn’t very hot! No goodbye when we left! I have noticed that the owner of this establishment is very defensive on reviews that are not to his liking! May I suggest sir that you tell your staff to welcome customers and show them to a table and explain the menu is on the counter and order there! Usually a waitress would come and ask if everything was ok with our meal which would have given me a chance to say it wasn’t very hot but nobody bothered! And tell your waitresses a SMILE won’t crack thier faces!!!!

Brilliant cafe great food menu easy with special on the board. Attentive staff who provided great service. Food was delicious fresh and hot. Was busy but certainly worth the wait. If i wanted it in 5-10 mins id have gone to takeaway where food kept warm.

Not as good as it used to be. My partner asked for a decaff flat white. Looked like dishwater when it came. Waited quite a time for one bowl of soup and a panini. Panini was ok but nothing special. Salad that came on the plate was minimal and uninspiring. It was reasonably priced though but overall could have been a better.
