Ham's - High Point

The booth areas and seating in the corners of the booths could have been a little better in the cleaning category, looks like maybe just a quick wipe down in our area. food is good, prices are reasonable, the Host doorstaff if you will, seemed less than concerned about our arrival, we actually had to go around the corner and find an employee to let them know we were there. however the gentleman that waited on us was top notch, speedy delivery on food. not exactly sure of the atmosphere as there's many license plates on the walls, TVs playing sports and a down-to-earth kind of wood furniture feel. all in all good place I would return.

I've seen Ham's when it was great, and now when it's not so great. Ham's can be far better than it ever was and much better than it is now. The corporate leadership needs to start caring about and investing in the store (the last one standing as there were as many as 7 stores in operation), the employees that work said store, the guests/patrons they serve, and the community it impacts.

I usually enjoy ham, but today's visit to the restaurant was disappointing. We ordered vegetable soup, wings, and chips, but had to wait nearly an hour for our food. When it finally arrived, the soup was cold and so were the wings. We tried to place a to-go order, but the waitress never returned to assist us.
