Karma Coffee Cafe - Hiawatha

This restaurant is a hidden gem that I only discovered after seeing a commercial. They really need to promote it more! The menu features a great selection of healthy options and gluten-free items (it's not a dedicated gluten-free establishment, but it works for me). There are various seating choices available, the music is at a pleasant volume, and the atmosphere is comfortable without being too cold, plus the decor is lovely. The staff is extremely friendly and patient. I also appreciated that the order cards celebrate women. And to top it off, I found excellent coffee and espresso in Cedar Rapids!

I visited for the first time on May 31st and was delighted by my experience. The service was both polite and prompt, and the food was absolutely delicious. I tried the green/mango iced tea, which was very refreshing, and the two gluten-free chocolate chip cookies, which I initially thought would be dry but were actually quite large and enjoyable. These were the best gluten-free pastries I’ve had! The special of two spring rolls was not only a great deal but also incredibly tasty. I left feeling pleasantly satisfied rather than stuffed, as if I had eaten really healthy food. I will definitely be coming back!

We had lunch today, and it was amazing! It's the best food I've had in a long time. Everything was fresh and spotless. This place is a hidden gem in Hiawatha!

I've been here a few times and it's always worth the trip from Cedar Rapids. I don't drink coffee anymore, so I love the options that are lower in caffeine, the Hiawatha Fog is very good. I am happy to try the bubble tea and there is always something new and interesting. Good choice of seating and gender-neutral bathrooms are a plus!

Love everything about this coffee shop that Susan and Diane own!! Very friendly staff and the food and drinks are excellent!! Also love the healthy options and the way they respond to customers suggestions!! If you haven't tried Karma Coffee Cafe, check them out!!
