An interesting little place! Felt like a homemade, southern and quintessential Hertford experience. The staff couldn’t have been nicer, we really enjoyed them. It’s a very small establishment, and it was busy the whole time we were there. I am really hoping the owners can see the need for a place like this in downtown Hertford and expand the seating! Service was a little slow but we were okay with that, as we were wanting to enjoy a long lunch out. I enjoyed the food, especially for the super reasonable prices!

Me and a couple of friends stopped in here one afternoon. Most everything was closing up early due to a Christmas event starting soon. We were limited at what we could order, because the person (I think the owner) was by himself. He was very nice and explained what options we could choose from. The sandwiches were decent, but the slice of cheesecake was well worth the stop here. It was quite yummy, fairly priced and a very large portion.

The food was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly. For lunch, I found the prices to be quite reasonable at around $10–20 per person. I would rate the food a perfect 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere also a 5. Highly recommend!
